French Speaking Sales Account Manager

About the role

An established and growing UK business with an international customer base and a reputation for design and product innovation is looking for a French-speaking Sales Account Manager based in Knowle, near Birmingham, Solihull and Coventry. The role covers managing existing customer accounts and finding new business opportunities across French-speaking markets. Own transport is required for daily commuting to the office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing customer accounts through upselling
• Research and identify new business opportunities with retailers and wholesale customers
• Maintain long-term relationships with buyers and retail partners
• Promote new product launches and drive repeat business
• Re-engage previous customers and grow their accounts
• Attend trade shows in France, normally twice a year, to showcase products and develop relationships
• Manage sales opportunities and grow the company's presence across French-speaking markets

Required profile

• Fluent in French, written and spoken (essential)
• Sales and/or account management experience, ideally in a B2B environment
• Willingness to travel to France for trade shows
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Proactive, commercially minded and interested in developing new business
• Organised, self-motivated and comfortable working towards sales targets

Required skills

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems

What we offer

• Salary up to £35,000 per annum plus a monthly on-target bonus
