French Speaking Sales Manager (Packaging Sector)

About the role

A fast-growing international packaging company specialising in custom packaging solutions for brands and manufacturers across the UK and Europe is looking for a French-speaking Sales Manager based in North West London. The position offers maternity cover with the potential to become permanent, hybrid work of 2 to 3 days a week in the office, and pays up to £40,000 per year depending on experience plus commission.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business growth across a designated territory by identifying and winning new customers and building long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
• Generate new business by engaging prospective customers and building a sustainable pipeline of opportunities.
• Present tailored solutions and commercial proposals that show clear value to customers.
• Own the sales cycle from first contact through negotiation, agreement and onboarding.
• Grow existing business by increasing customer spend and developing strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams so customer requirements are understood and delivered, and stay close to industry developments to spot new commercial opportunities.

Required profile

• Fluent French (written and spoken) is essential; fluent Spanish is a benefit.
• Experience in a B2B sales environment is needed.
• A background in the packaging sector is preferred.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage senior decision-makers.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Able and willing to travel to the designated markets.
