About the role
Les Petits Mousses de Plymouth, a non‑profit French supplementary school, is looking for two enthusiastic French teachers to lead Saturday morning classes during term time. One teacher will work with children aged 3‑5 years and the other with children aged 6‑8 years, delivering 1.5‑hour lessons each Saturday.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and prepare age‑appropriate French language lessons.
- Deliver interactive activities such as stories, games, songs, and creative projects.
- Provide school‑style exercises for the older group.
- Create a fun, supportive learning environment that encourages participation.
Required profile
- Fluent in French.
- Experience in teaching or working with children is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire young learners.
- Knowledge of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) is an advantage.
