Front of House Host – Hospitality Role

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, organised and outgoing Front of House Host to join our team at Another Place, The Lake. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome from arrival through to departure while supporting multiple hotel areas.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Support restaurant, activity, treatment and Kids’ Zone bookings.
• Assist guests with enquiries in person, by phone and by email.
• Manage access to the Swim Club and help visitors.
• Prepare and maintain watersports equipment and activity spaces.
• Complete daily admin, banking and opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain high standards across all guest‑facing areas.

Required profile

• Previous Front of House or hospitality experience.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm and adaptable in a busy environment.
• First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain training.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
