Full Stack Python/Java/React Developer (Govt & Defence)

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong Python, Java and React experience to join a mission‑led consultancy delivering modern software solutions for UK Government and Defence clients. You will work in a high‑trust, agile team building secure, scalable systems and progressive web apps that make a real difference.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test secure software systems using Python, Java and React.
• Build scalable APIs and data pipelines following modern architecture principles.
• Leverage open‑source libraries, GitLab CI/CD and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Deploy applications to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, private cloud).
• Contribute across the full development lifecycle from requirements to delivery and beyond.

Required profile

• Comfortable collaborating with internal stakeholders and external clients.

Required skills

• Strong experience with Python, Java and React (or similar modern frontend frameworks).
• Full‑stack development with clean, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices: containers, CI/CD, infrastructure automation.
• Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban).
• Bonus: exposure to secure or classified development environments.
