About the role
We are seeking an experienced GCSE German Tutor to deliver one‑to‑one face‑to‑face tuition for a student in Woking, Surrey. The role supports a visually impaired learner working towards their GCSE German qualification, starting in September 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 3 hours per week of personalised German tuition.
- Adapt teaching resources to meet the student’s visual impairment and other educational needs.
- Assess progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly.
- Maintain clear communication with the student’s parents or guardians.
Required profile
- Experience teaching German at GCSE level.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience supporting learners with SEND, particularly visual impairments, is highly desirable.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Required skills
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £30‑£35 (depending on experience).
- 3 hours per week, face‑to‑face tuition.
- Start date in September 2026.
