About the role
JD Gyms is seeking a General Assistant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and provide friendly, professional support to members in a fast‑growing budget gym environment.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out daily, weekly and monthly cleaning and safety checks, reporting any defects.
- Uphold JD Gyms brand standards and health & safety policies across the club.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uniform in line with company expectations.
- Deliver outstanding member service through positive interactions.
- Support learning and development initiatives and undertake any other reasonable duties.
Required profile
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Commitment to delivering excellent member service and maintaining high standards.
- Experience in a customer‑facing, cleaning, leisure or similar environment is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while managing responsibilities independently.
