Geography Teacher – Flexible Permanent or Supply Role

About the role

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Oxted, Surrey. The role can be taken on a permanent, supply or day‑to‑day basis, offering flexibility to match your career aspirations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Geography lessons for KS3 and KS4 (KS5 optional depending on experience).
• Foster curiosity about the world, environmental issues and geographical concepts.
• Promote critical thinking, investigation and strong geographical skills.
• Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a passion for Geography.
• Experience teaching KS3–KS5 preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to adapt teaching style to a range of abilities.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of geographical concepts and environmental issues.
• Effective classroom management and lesson planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
