Geophysicist – Survey Design & Field Investigation

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Geophysicist to join an established specialist consultancy near Aylesbury. The role involves supporting a growing workload of engineering, environmental, infrastructure and construction projects across the UK and overseas.

Key responsibilities

• Design geophysical surveys from concept to execution.
• Carry out field investigations using advanced geophysical equipment.
• Process, analyse and interpret collected geophysical data.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for clients.
• Collaborate with senior professionals on multidisciplinary project teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences or a related discipline.
• Full UK manual driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
• Willingness to travel and undertake field‑based work.
• Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of Aylesbury.
• Flexible, motivated and collaborative attitude.
