Global Retail Merchandising Assistant – Luxury Footwear

About the role

Join a leading luxury footwear brand as a Global Retail Merchandising Assistant. You will support the Retail Merchandising Manager in driving revenue growth and ensuring the right product assortment across stores and e‑commerce channels.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, highlighting KPIs such as sell‑through, stock cover and best/worst sellers.
• Maintain the long‑range product plan, identifying risks and trading opportunities.
• Assist in planning the global core footwear assortment for retail and online.
• Collaborate with Planning, S&OP, Customer Services and Production to monitor stock levels, sell‑through rates and product performance, and to coordinate seasonal product launches.
• Gather and coordinate seasonal feedback from regional teams and ensure market requirements are captured.
• Liaise with Marketing, PR, Visual Merchandising, CRM and Retail Training to provide product focus information.
• Support marketing campaigns with regional product investments and seasonal buys.
• Manage sample control and coordinate global production pre‑orders for retail and wholesale.
• Monitor competitor activity and luxury footwear market trends.
• Provide ad‑hoc administrative support as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail merchandising or buying (internship or entry‑level acceptable).
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Commercial awareness and passion for luxury fashion, especially footwear.
• Innovative, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast‑paced, change‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Power BI, SAP, PLM and FSR reporting tools.
