Global Sourcing Director

About the role

The Global Sourcing Director will own the end‑to‑end sourcing strategy for Professional Services and Human Resources categories worldwide. This senior commercial role shapes category road‑maps, negotiates high‑value contracts and ensures risk‑aware, resilient supplier ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute global category strategies for recruitment, benefits, contract labour, payroll, consulting, insurance and advisory services.
• Lead major negotiations, contract structuring and supplier selection to maximise value and minimise risk.
• Design and govern a global supplier portfolio, defining KPIs, executive reviews and risk‑mitigation frameworks.
• Partner with senior leaders in HR, Finance, Legal, Risk and other functions to align sourcing decisions with organisational objectives.
• Drive cost optimisation, performance improvement, contract harmonisation and demand‑management initiatives.
• Maintain market intelligence on trends, regulatory changes and innovative delivery models.

Required profile

• Proven experience setting organisation‑wide category strategies for complex service portfolios.
• Track record of leading high‑value, multi‑region negotiations in HR and professional services.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage trade‑offs across functions.
• Strong commercial acumen with focus on risk management and long‑term resilience.
