About the role
We are looking for a Governance and Public Affairs Coordinator to work within the Director’s Office at Tate. The role supports the Governance and Public Affairs teams, ensuring smooth Board and Committee operations, upholding high standards of governance and contributing to Tate’s external engagement and policy initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate Board and Committee meetings, agendas, minutes and follow‑up actions.
- Maintain governance documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Support the development and delivery of public affairs and policy projects.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, managing competing priorities with accuracy and discretion.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Director’s Office and related teams.
Required profile
- Highly organised and proactive with a strong “can‑do” attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and handling confidential information.
- Interest in governance, policy or public affairs.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
