Governance, Risk & Compliance Officer

About the role

The Officer – Governance, Risk & Compliance will support the Cybersecurity team at ACE Money Transfer, ensuring that security policies, procedures and registers are up to date and well‑organized. This hands‑on learning role is designed to develop a capable GRC practitioner through everyday documentation, tracking and reporting tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain security policies, procedures and registers, keeping them current and well‑structured.
• Assist in updating the risk register and follow up with owners for status changes.
• Collect and organise evidence required for audits and internal reviews.
• Support user access reviews by gathering data and flagging anomalies.
• Help complete security questionnaires from partners and vendors.
• Track open actions and control gaps until they are closed.
• Prepare simple dashboards and summary reports for management.
• Provide general GRC team support, such as scheduling reviews and taking meeting notes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• Basic understanding of information security concepts.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks to deadline.
• Trustworthy handling of confidential information.
