Governance & Risk Coordinator

About the role
The Governance & Risk Coordinator will support the oversight, governance and operational resilience of our client’s critical infrastructure, focusing on EV charging operations within a clean‑energy environment. Working closely with operations, technical and compliance teams, you will bring structure to processes and ensure assets run safely, efficiently and in line with UK regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Support and maintain governance frameworks across infrastructure operations, clarifying accountability between internal teams, contractors and partners.
- Maintain and develop the corporate risk register, concentrating on network availability, asset reliability, supply‑chain and energy‑grid risks.
- Coordinate governance actions from operational and management meetings and ensure alignment with standards such as ISO 27001 and ISO 55001.
- Act as the central liaison between operations, technical, compliance and external stakeholders.
- Maintain operational policies for infrastructure management, health & safety and service reliability.
- Support compliance with UK legislation and industry regulations, including the Public Charge Point Regulations (PCPR).
- Monitor supplier compliance, conduct spot checks and manage policy version control.
Required profile
- Strong interest in building and improving governance processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent organisational and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Understanding of UK regulatory requirements for EV charging and infrastructure.
Required skills
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 and ISO 55001 standards.
- Familiarity with risk‑register management.
- Experience with policy documentation and version control.
- Awareness of Public Charge Point Regulations (PCPR).
