Graduate Behaviour Mentor – SEN Provision

About the role
We are seeking a motivated graduate to join our SEN provision in Chippenham as a Behaviour Mentor. You will work directly in the classroom, supporting pupils who experience emotional and behavioural challenges and helping them achieve their full educational potential.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with students to promote positive decision‑making and emotional resilience.
- Deliver restorative practices and therapeutic interventions as part of the school’s support framework.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop individualized behaviour plans.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the wider team.
Required profile
- Recent graduate with a degree in Psychology, Criminology or a related field.
- Passion for working with children and teenagers in a school setting.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in mental‑health support.
Required skills
- Understanding of basic mental‑health concepts and emotional regulation strategies.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with young people.
