Graduate Installation and Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Installation and Maintenance Engineer to join our specialist team in Stockport. You will work on cutting‑edge inspection and simulation machines, providing technical support and ensuring system reliability while travelling nationally and internationally as required.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support, diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, and support service interventions and projects.
• Manage system performance through regular audits, performance assessments and reliability monitoring.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, system configurations and equipment maintenance.
• Build strong relationships with customers, explain product functionality and manage technical issues.
• Ensure all service activities comply with safety regulations, company policies and relevant legislation.
• Collaborate with design and product development teams to resolve technical problems and implement improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline such as Electrical, Electronic or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a service engineering role is advantageous but not essential; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, flexible working hours, full UK driving licence and a passport with no travel restrictions.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.

What we offer

• Salary £28,000 – £30,000 per year plus an annual discretionary bonus.
