Graduate Quantity Surveyor – Entry Level Role

About the role

Brandon James Ltd is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join its growing consultancy in Leatherhead. This full‑time position offers hands‑on experience across residential, commercial, education and healthcare projects, providing a solid foundation for a career in construction cost management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing estimates, cost plans and budget reports.
• Support tendering and procurement activities on live projects.
• Help administer valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Attend project meetings and site inspections alongside senior colleagues.
• Contribute to cost reporting and commercial documentation.
• Develop relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
• Strong passion for a consultancy career and willingness to work towards MRICS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence (advantageous but not essential).
