About the role
We are looking for a motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming Church of England primary school in Leytonstone. This full‑time contract role offers hands‑on classroom experience and a clear pathway towards teacher training for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Support individual pupils, including those with SEND, to achieve their potential.
- Lead small intervention groups aimed at raising attainment and building confidence.
- Assist teachers in delivering high‑quality lessons across the school.
- Help ensure all pupils are fully included and supported.
- Collaborate with staff to maintain a positive learning environment.
Required profile
- Graduate‑level qualification.
- Proactive, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Genuine interest in working with children and pursuing a teaching career.
- Previous experience with young people is desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative in a classroom setting.
