Graduate Teaching Assistant – Numeracy Support (Ealing)

About the role

An outstanding secondary school in Ealing is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to provide specialist numeracy support. This full‑time, term‑time position starts in September 2026 and is ideal for a recent Mathematics, STEM or related graduate who wants to make a direct impact on student progress.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver targeted numeracy interventions and maths support sessions for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils.
• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group assistance to students with SEN/SEND, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans.
• Support pupils preparing for GCSE Mathematics examinations.
• Reinforce core mathematical concepts, problem‑solving and numerical reasoning.
• Collaborate with maths teachers to adapt resources and learning activities.
• Monitor progress and contribute to intervention strategies.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Psychology, Education or a related discipline.
• Strong numeracy skills and a passion for supporting learners with additional needs.
• Ability to work effectively with teachers, students and support staff.
• Commitment to a term‑time, full‑time schedule starting September 2026.
