Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Hounslow)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded secondary school in Hounslow. This position offers recent graduates valuable classroom experience across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting both academic achievement and student wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils in KS3 and KS4.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management and resource organisation.
• Monitor student progress and contribute to reports and feedback.
• Collaborate with the SEN team to support pupils with SEND.
• Promote a positive, inclusive and motivating learning environment.

Required profile

• Degree in any subject area.
• Genuine passion for education and supporting student development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, patient and adaptable attitude.
• Experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
