Graduate/Junior Application Engineer – APS/MES

About the role

We are looking for a motivated graduate or junior engineer to join our remote team and work on Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) projects. The role combines customer‑facing activities with hands‑on configuration, programming and implementation of niche engineering software.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and become a subject‑matter expert on APS and MES toolsets.
• Provide technical demonstrations of the software to customers.
• Scope project work and develop implementation plans.
• Deliver APS and MES implementations and support technical queries.
• Train and onboard customers, with occasional site visits.

Required profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering or computer science.
• Practical problem‑solving approach and strong communication skills.
• Positive attitude, ability to work autonomously and attention to detail.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).

Required skills

• Text‑based programming.
• PLC programming.
• Low‑code programming knowledge.

What we offer

• Salary £28,000‑£32,000 per year, dependent on experience.
