Head of Business – Automotive Retail

About the role

We are seeking an outstanding and commercially driven Head of Business to lead a high‑performing, multi‑franchise automotive retail operation in Buckinghamshire. This senior position offers a clear pathway to managing a larger flagship site as part of a major future development, allowing you to shape growth, profitability and customer excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver commercial growth and sustained profitability across the dealership.
• Lead, develop and inspire high‑performing teams in sales, after‑sales, finance and administration.
• Drive exceptional customer satisfaction, retention and loyalty.
• Oversee all aspects of dealership operations, ensuring compliance, governance and operational excellence.
• Build a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve ambitious growth objectives.

Required profile

• Proven automotive retail leader with at least 2 years as a Head of Business.
• Strong track record of delivering exceptional financial and operational results.
• Experience managing sizeable teams within complex, multi‑franchise dealership environments.
• Outstanding leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• High commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Ability to drive performance while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
