Head of Finance

About the role

We are partnering with a successful, independently owned property business that is entering a new phase of growth after a significant acquisition. The Head of Finance will own the finance function and sit on the senior leadership team, driving financial performance and supporting further expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations and produce management information.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Manage cash flow, financial reporting and strengthen financial controls.
• Act as Money Laundering Reporting Officer and ensure compliance.
• Support future acquisitions with detailed financial analysis.
• Oversee aged debt, purchase ledger, lettings accounts and landlord payments.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
• Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting expertise.
• Excellent analytical and commercial decision‑making abilities.
• Proven experience leading and developing finance teams.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary £50,000‑£70,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus benefits.
• Hybrid working – 2‑3 days per week in Beaconsfield office.
