Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

This senior position leads the group‑wide financial planning and analysis function for a fast‑growing international consumer business. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape financial decision‑making across multiple markets and drive strategic insight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes across the group.
• Provide high‑quality financial analysis and performance insight to support strategic decisions.
• Partner with senior finance and operations stakeholders to improve visibility, accountability and performance.
• Develop and enhance reporting, planning and analytical capabilities.
• Improve management information, KPIs and board reporting.
• Deliver commentary on business performance, trends and opportunities.
• Support investment appraisal, business cases and strategic projects.
• Integrate acquisitions into group reporting and planning.
• Contribute to the evolution of systems, tools and reporting automation.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong FP&A and commercial finance experience in a complex, multi‑site or international environment.
• Proven ability to operate at senior leadership level with excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Skilled at translating data into commercial insight.
• Comfortable in a fast‑moving, performance‑driven setting.
• Experience in private‑equity‑backed, retail, consumer, logistics or supply‑chain businesses is a plus.
