Head of HR – London (Hybrid)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading international organisation to find a Head of HR for a key business unit operating across the UK and internationally. This senior, high‑impact role will shape culture, support leadership and embed effective people practices in a fast‑moving, transformational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to align people strategy with business objectives.
• Support organisational design and workforce planning during transformation.
• Lead and embed change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication.
• Identify and manage retention risks for commercial and specialist roles.
• Strengthen employee engagement and foster a high‑performing culture.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including complex employee‑relations matters.
• Deliver reward, performance and annual review processes in partnership with global teams.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders to ensure alignment with global frameworks and policies.
• Manage delivery across a lean HR team with a broad remit.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience supporting organisational change or transformation.
• Strong generalist HR capability across the full employee lifecycle.
• Experience working in a global or matrixed organisation.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercially minded with experience supporting commercially focused teams (advantageous).
