Head of IT & Security

About the role

ECA International Group is seeking a senior leader to direct IT operations and cybersecurity across all global locations. The Head of IT & Security will ensure that technology services are reliable, scalable, and secure while aligning with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day IT operations and infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Develop, implement and maintain IT and security policies, procedures and standards.
• Lead security initiatives such as risk assessments, vulnerability testing and deployment of security technologies.
• Manage and develop the IT and security teams, providing guidance, training and performance oversight.
• Coordinate response to security incidents, investigations and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards including GDPR, ISO 27001 and SOC II.
• Collaborate with other departments to align security measures with business needs.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, security consultants and auditors.
• Oversee IT projects, system upgrades, security enhancements and new technology deployments.
• Prepare and manage the IT and security budgets.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in IT operations and cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC II).
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional teams and large‑scale projects.
• Excellent strategic thinking and communication skills.
