A fast-growing, profitable e-commerce consumer brand with an international customer base is looking for an experienced Head of Logistics to take ownership of procurement, supply planning and inbound logistics. The role is fully remote within the UK, with a salary of £50,000-£65,000 depending on experience. You will own the supply chain journey from supplier selection and procurement through to inbound freight, customs and receipt into the warehouse, working closely with Finance, Commercial, Operations, Marketplaces and Warehouse teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Own procurement and supply planning, lead demand forecasting and inventory planning, and place purchase orders with suppliers on lead times, MOQs and production schedules.
  • Build and manage relationships with manufacturers and suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms and service levels, and manage freight forwarder relationships and rates.
  • Own inbound freight strategy (sea vs air, consolidation, routing) and the end-to-end inbound process through customs to warehouse or 3PL.
  • Optimise landed cost and report on how logistics decisions affect CM1 and CM2 margin.
  • Negotiate 3PL and carrier contracts, monitor supplier and inbound performance, and resolve delays, short shipments, damages and customs issues.
  • Work with Finance on procurement commitments, stock valuations and cashflow, and support warehouse and 3PL teams with accurate schedules and stock information.
  • Plan supply chain for peak trading periods, new product launches, and ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements across UK, EU and US markets.
  • Develop processes, systems and SOPs, and lead, hire and develop the supply chain team.

Required profile

  • Experience leading a team of 3 to 10, including hiring and performance management.

  • Strong experience with forecasting, inventory planning, purchasing, international suppliers and freight forwarders, and managing peak trading.
  • Strong analytical skills with supply chain data and KPIs, and a commercially minded, proactive approach.

What we offer

  • Salary of £50,000-£65,000 depending on experience.
  • Fully remote work from anywhere in the UK.
  • Competitive salary plus benefits.
