Head of Operations / GM – Field Marketing & Events

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Head of Operations to lead the operational engine behind one of the UK’s fastest‑growing direct‑marketing businesses. Reporting to the CEO, you will shape scalable processes while staying close to day‑to‑day event delivery across the UK and Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement operational frameworks for pop‑up activations, retail venues and live events.
• Oversee logistics, workforce planning, contractor management and compliance (including IR35).
• Drive performance against commercial targets and manage budgetary responsibilities.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution of FMCG and subscription brand campaigns.
• Travel regularly to event sites within two hours of London.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in operations, logistics or experiential marketing.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering profitable campaigns.
• Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Salary £70,000‑£80,000 plus performance bonus up to £20,000 (OTE £100,000).
