Head of Sales – Residential Estate Agency

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a successful residential sales office in Dorking. Working closely with the Directors, you will drive business growth, develop a high‑performing team and contribute to the continued success of a well‑established independent estate agency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the residential sales team to exceed performance targets.
• Generate new business through valuations, instructions and market‑share growth.
• Win new business and build long‑term relationships with vendors, buyers and local developers.
• Oversee the sales pipeline to ensure efficient transaction progression to completion.
• Monitor market trends and implement strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Collaborate with Directors to implement business plans and achieve office objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Head of Residential Sales or Senior Branch Manager within a residential estate agency.
• Strong track record of winning instructions and consistently meeting sales targets.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and people‑management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the residential property market and sales legislation.
• Full UK driving licence.
