Head of Supply Chain & Operations

About the role

MAGIC AI is seeking a hands‑on leader to design and run the operating system that will support rapid growth across the UK and US. The role goes beyond day‑to‑day maintenance; it establishes the planning, processes, and cross‑functional discipline needed to keep operations from becoming a bottleneck.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end supply‑chain engine, including manufacturing, freight, customs, dual‑region 3PL, and landed‑cost economics.
• Develop and implement supply‑chain strategy, ERP systems, and international freight plans for both UK and US markets.
• Design and manage reverse‑logistics flows, returns, grading, and restocking.
• Lead the S&OP process, demand forecasting, inventory planning, ordering cadence, and safety‑stock policies.
• Provide operational finance support: translate financial plans into purchase orders, ensure inventory accuracy, and produce COGS/GPM reports.
• Coordinate people, legal, and finance operations across UK and US entities, including hiring infrastructure, compliance, and external counsel.
• Run the company’s operating cadence: weekly metrics reviews, quarterly planning, OKRs, and executive meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading supply‑chain, logistics, and operational finance functions at scale.
• Track record of building resilient, dual‑region supply‑chain networks.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable decisions.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication skills, capable of aligning product, finance, and legal teams.

Required skills

• Supply‑chain strategy and systems implementation (e.g., ERP).
• S&OP process design and execution.
• Inventory management and demand forecasting.
• Operational finance reporting and margin analysis.
