About the role

The Head of Training Delivery – Frontline Services provides strategic leadership for DVSA’s frontline training programmes, ensuring high‑quality, customer‑focused learning for Driving Examiners, Enforcement Officers and Vehicle Assessors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for frontline training delivery, overseeing learning for Driving Examiners, Enforcement Officers and Vehicle Assessors.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and workforce planning to align training with strategic priorities and skill requirements.
• Interpret Department for Transport and DVSA priorities to shape learning programmes.
• Lead and guide professional teams, ensuring services meet evolving business needs and civil service frameworks.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Essential qualification: MCIPD or a Level 7/Masters qualification in a relevant subject, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated senior leadership experience in training delivery or workforce development.

What we offer

• Salary of £57,515 per annum.
• Employer pension contribution of 28.97% of salary.
