About the role
This permanent position joins a small, friendly phlebotomy team at Forres Health and Care Centre. The role works a regular 30‑hour week, Monday to Friday, 8 am‑6 pm, with no night or weekend shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Perform phlebotomy procedures for patients in a GP or acute hospital setting.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure samples are correctly labelled and processed.
- Provide high‑quality care with minimal supervision, adhering to NHS standards.
- Support the team with routine administrative tasks and IT system updates.
Required profile
- Motivated, enthusiastic and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
- Willingness to work within the NHS Scotland framework and follow equality and diversity policies.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of the Vision IT system.
What we offer
- Permanent contract – 30 hours per week.
- No night or weekend work required.
- Hourly rate adjusted to maintain pay despite upcoming reduction in weekly hours.
