Health & Safety Officer

About the role
Join a leading specialist logistics company as a Health & Safety Officer, responsible for maintaining a safe environment on a busy site that includes indoor and outdoor areas, moving vehicles, heavy equipment and a high volume of people.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all health and safety activities on the site.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop control measures.
- Investigate and record accidents and near‑miss incidents.
- Create, implement and maintain health and safety procedures.
- Stay up‑to‑date with legislation and train staff on compliance.
- Ensure the site meets all statutory health and safety requirements.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a health and safety role.
- Relevant qualifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH, NVQ or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence.
Required skills
- Risk assessment.
- Accident investigation.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
