Heat Pump Engineer – Renewable Energy (North West)

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Refrigeration or Heating Engineer to join our fast‑growing renewable energy team. You will work on heat‑pump projects across the North West, travelling between Wigan and Manchester, with a regular 8:30 am‑4:30 pm schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Install, commission and service commercial heat‑pump systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and fault diagnosis on refrigeration equipment.
- Travel to client sites across Greater Manchester and the surrounding region.
- Ensure compliance with F‑Gas regulations and company safety standards.
- Collaborate with a lean, high‑performing technical team to meet project deadlines.
Required profile
- Qualified Refrigeration or Heating/Heat‑Pump Engineer.
- Relevant certifications such as F‑Gas, NVQ or City & Guilds.
- Willingness to travel locally within the North West.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Required skills
- Refrigeration system knowledge.
- Heat‑pump technology expertise.
- F‑Gas handling and certification.
- NVQ qualification.
- City & Guilds certification.
What we offer
- Competitive salary £42,500 – £46,000 per annum.
