HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Up to £53.22/hr

About the role

Rapier Employment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join a leading supermarket distribution operation in the South East. You will be responsible for delivering chilled and ambient products to a nationwide supermarket network using modern Class 1 vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Perform store deliveries and trunking work across Erith, Dartford and surrounding areas.
• Complete vehicle safety checks and delivery paperwork for each run.
• Operate safely and professionally within a 24/7 distribution environment.
• Maintain minimal manual handling while loading and unloading goods.
• Adhere to scheduled shift patterns, including early‑morning, late‑evening and weekend hours.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points with no disqualifications or endorsements.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Professional, reliable and safety‑focused attitude.

• Accurate completion of delivery documentation.
