HGV Class 1 Driver – Days, Nights & Weekends – Competitive Pay

About the role

Proman UK is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for its busy distribution hub in Port Sunlight. The role offers a mix of store deliveries, trunking, and regional distribution centre work across day, night and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely to stores and regional distribution centres across the UK.
• Complete trunking runs and store deliveries according to shift patterns.
• Perform vehicle pre‑checks, report defects and ensure loads are securely fastened.
• Accurately manage delivery paperwork, proof of delivery (POD) and electronic logs.
• Adhere to driving hours, weekly tachograph data and all road safety regulations.
• Provide courteous service to customers and site teams.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Current CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of UK driving laws and regulations.
• Reliable, flexible and professional attitude.
