HGV Class 2 Driver – Commercial Recycling & Waste Collections

About the role

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join our commercial recycling and waste collection team in Leyton, London. The role involves regular, ongoing assignments delivering waste and recycling services to businesses across the M25 area.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle to collect commercial waste and recycling.
• Gather materials from office refurbishments, retail fit‑outs, construction sites and other commercial premises.
• Work with 1–2 driver’s mates to complete collections safely and efficiently.
• Perform 5–10 collections per shift while adhering to health and safety procedures.
• Provide a professional service at customer sites throughout London.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience (preferred).
• Good spoken and written English.
• Ability to assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
