HGV Technician – Rotating Shift – Glasgow

About the role

Scania is seeking an HGV Technician to join its Glasgow workshop on a rotating shift pattern. You will work on heavy commercial vehicles, delivering high‑quality servicing, maintenance and repairs while adhering to strict health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, diagnostics and repairs on HGVs, LCVs and related vehicle types.
• Maintain workshop equipment and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Follow the two‑week rotating shift schedule (Week 1 mornings, Week 2 evenings).
• Participate in continuous training at Scania’s National Learning Academy.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications or proven experience with HGV, LCV, car, agricultural, plant or military vehicles.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
• Commitment to health and safety best practices.
