HGV Vehicle Technician / Mechanic – Heathrow Airport

About the role
Our client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join the Vehicle Servicing workshop at Heathrow Airport. You will work on specialist airside vehicles and HGVs, ensuring they remain safe and operational for airport activities.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled maintenance on airside vehicles and HGVs.
- Perform quality‑control inspections and record findings.
- Diagnose and rectify vehicle defects promptly.
- Adhere to a 3‑on‑3‑off shift pattern, working days only, including weekends and bank holidays when required.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Fitter or similar role, preferably with commercial vehicles.
- Good understanding of workshop practices and vehicle servicing procedures.
- Full LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) driving licence.
- Willingness to work the specified shift pattern.
