HR Business Partner

About the role

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic position that works closely with senior leadership and business units to align people strategies with overall business objectives. Acting as a trusted advisor, the HRBP supports talent management, organisational development, employee relations and performance management to drive business outcomes and a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Group HR Director to translate business goals into effective HR strategies and initiatives.
• Support managers in addressing talent gaps, retention challenges and workforce planning.
• Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback and development plans.
• Advise on learning and development needs to ensure the workforce has required skills for current and future demands.
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and grievance handling.
• Promote employee engagement initiatives, gather feedback and recommend actions to improve morale and productivity.
• Assist in implementing organisational changes such as restructures, TUPEs and new policies, ensuring effective communication and integration.
• Forecast future workforce requirements and optimise team structures for improved performance.
• Collaborate with the recruitment team to align talent acquisition strategies with business needs.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into HR actions.
• Trusted advisor experience, capable of influencing senior leaders and managers.
• Strong understanding of talent management, employee relations and change management.
• Hands‑on execution skills to deliver HR initiatives and support day‑to‑day operations.
