HR Graduate – Early Careers (Newcastle)

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious HR Graduate to join Neptune North’s Early Careers team in Newcastle upon Tyne. In this highly visible, people‑focused position you will help shape the graduate and internship experience, working closely with senior stakeholders, universities and candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Support and deliver campus events, careers fairs and virtual engagement activities.
• Coordinate university partnerships, logistics and event planning.
• Manage candidate communications and track applications throughout the recruitment process.
• Organise interviews, assessment centres and selection activities.
• Assist with onboarding and day‑to‑day delivery of graduate and internship programmes.
• Act as a primary point of contact for interns and graduates, ensuring a positive experience.
• Track programme data, collect feedback and produce reports for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a strong academic record (ideally 2:1 or above).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Genuine interest in people, HR and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and solutions‑focused.
• Previous experience in events, recruitment or student engagement is advantageous.
