HR Manager – Global Tech Business

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR professional to lead the people agenda for a fast‑growing technology company with teams in the UK and the US. Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you will work independently, partnering with senior leaders to shape culture, drive engagement and support organisational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with UK and US leaders to provide proactive HR advice and guidance.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and best practices.
• Manage employee relations, including performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Coach and develop managers to build leadership and people‑management capability.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities.
• Maintain and improve HR processes, systems and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with UK and US employment legislation, working with external advisors as needed.
• Produce HR metrics and management information to support business decisions.
• Contribute to people‑focused projects, organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or senior HR business partner.
• Ability to work autonomously in a standalone role.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable partnering with senior leaders.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Experience supporting a globally distributed workforce.
