HR Manager – Hybrid (Leeds City Centre)

About the role

This is a hybrid HR Manager position based in Leeds City Centre, supporting a well‑established, regulated organisation. You will join a collaborative HR team focused on strengthening processes, developing managers and embedding best practice across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all employee‑relations matters, handling a wide range of cases with confidence.
• Act as a trusted advisor to managers, building capability and driving HR best practice.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, performance management and off‑boarding.
• Oversee HR operations, ensuring efficient, compliant and continuously improving processes.
• Maintain and develop HR policies in line with legislation and business needs.
• Support payroll, HR systems and reporting activities to ensure accuracy and robust governance.
• Contribute to wider HR projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a generalist HR Manager, preferably in professional, financial, legal or other regulated environments.
• Significant employee‑relations experience with a pragmatic, solution‑focused approach.
• Ability to coach and influence managers on a variety of people matters.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience working in structured, process‑driven organisations.
• Exposure to HR systems and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required skills

• Cascade HR system (highly desirable)
