Implementation Director

About the role

OneOcean is seeking an experienced Implementation Director to lead its project delivery function. You will be responsible for executing and delivering a suite of maritime SaaS products to a global customer base, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision for a sustainable maritime future.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end project delivery across all customer implementations and act as the escalation point for any project issues.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of six Project Managers and PMO personnel, establishing clear goals, performance metrics and development plans.
• Define and maintain project management standards, frameworks, methodologies and governance processes, ensuring consistent reporting across programmes.
• Build trusted relationships with executive customer stakeholders, participating in kick‑offs, steering committees and executive reviews.
• Track and deliver synergy, cost‑saving and performance‑improvement targets while leading cross‑functional teams and third‑party partners.

Required profile

• 10+ years of project and programme management experience.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership position managing project delivery teams.
• Proven experience delivering SaaS, cloud or technology projects for enterprise customers.
• Track record of leading multiple concurrent customer implementations.
• Experience managing PMO functions and organisational governance frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management with executive‑level customers.
• Degree‑level education or equivalent; PMP, PRINCE2 or MSP qualification desirable.
