Import Merchandiser

About the role

We are seeking an Import Merchandiser to join a growing team in Oldham. This is an exciting opportunity to support the expansion of market share and develop your career within a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process orders with suppliers from initiation to delivery.
• Create customer administration forms and set up new items in the internal system.
• Raise and manage purchase orders to ensure timely, complete shipments.
• Collaborate with buyers, design/packaging, and quality control to run orders smoothly.
• Manage critical paths with suppliers and customers, including artwork, samples, and invoices.
• Coordinate sample approvals, packaging specifications, and courier dispatches.
• Monitor multiple high‑street customer accounts, shipment timelines, and communicate changes across logistics, sales, and customer teams.
• Plan container fills, solve internal issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Perform general administration and assist other departments during peak periods.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in merchandising, preferably with varied responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to build and maintain supplier and customer relationships professionally.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities to manage date‑critical orders.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
