Independent Financial Adviser – up to £70,000 + 30% bonus

About the role

We are seeking a talented and client‑focused Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) to join our growing Bishop’s Stortford office. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced adviser – ideally Chartered or close to Chartered status – to work with an established, reputable firm offering long‑term career development and high‑quality client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide holistic financial advice across pensions, investments and other planning services.
• Manage a personal portfolio of approximately 200 clients, each with an average of £300k AUM.
• Inherit existing client relationships and build new long‑term partnerships.
• Participate in future firm acquisitions to expand the client base.
• Collaborate with paraplanning, administration and compliance teams to deliver seamless service.

Required profile

• Holder (or near‑holder) of Chartered Financial Planner status.
• Around five years of experience delivering holistic financial advice.
• Proven ability to build trusted, long‑term client relationships.
• Self‑motivated, collaborative and professional attitude.
