Industrialisation Engineer – REACH Compliance

About the role

The REACH / Industrialisation Engineer will join a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation in Slough, supporting product compliance and manufacturing excellence. You will work closely with engineering, quality, supply chain and production teams to ensure materials and processes meet REACH, RoHS and other environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Support compliance with REACH, RoHS and related environmental regulations.
• Maintain and manage material compliance data, declarations and certificates.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain technical and compliance information.
• Assess regulatory changes and their impact on products, materials and processes.
• Handle customer enquiries regarding material compliance.
• Maintain records for audit, customer and regulatory requirements.
• Assist material substitution and obsolescence management programmes.
• Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, quality and productivity.

Required profile

• HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Chemistry, Environmental Compliance or related field.
• Experience in aerospace, defence, automotive, electronics or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with REACH, RoHS, environmental compliance or materials management.
• Experience supporting manufacturing engineering, industrialisation or process improvement activities.
