About the role
We are seeking a motivated Workshop Engineer to join a fast‑growing, family‑run manufacturer of bespoke vehicles for the defence and marine sectors. The position is site‑based in Slough, Monday to Friday, offering full on‑the‑job training and clear progression pathways.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the workshop team in the build, test and maintenance of custom‑made vehicles.
- Follow detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Carry out routine inspections, repairs and modifications.
- Record work performed and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Mechanical or engineering background with hands‑on experience.
- Willingness to develop technical skills through training.
- Ability to commute to Slough.
- Enthusiastic, reliable and eager to progress in a growing business.
