Installation Support Engineer – Technical Support for Access Control

About the role

We are seeking an Installation Support Engineer to join our Leeds office, providing expert technical assistance to installers of access control and automation products. You will act as the go‑to specialist, helping customers select the right solutions, resolve installation challenges and ensure successful commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to installer queries on product selection, installation and configuration.
• Assist with commissioning, set‑up and product configuration on site.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
• Recommend replacement parts and compatible alternatives.

Required profile

• Current experience in an office‑based technical support role for electro‑mechanical products.
• Familiarity with gate automation, access control, automatic doors, roller shutters, barriers and entrance systems.
• Strong communication skills with installers and engineering teams.
