Insurance Sales Manager

About the role

Bionic is looking for an Insurance Sales Manager to lead its growing insurance sales team in London. You will shape and execute the sales strategy, drive revenue, and ensure a seamless, digitally‑enabled buying experience for business customers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver sales, customer and quality targets through disciplined daily execution, both personally and via the team.
• Ensure full adherence to regulatory and quality standards, always prioritising customer outcomes.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing sales team, managing performance and capability.
• Build strong cross‑functional and external stakeholder relationships, including underwriters.
• Act as the technical and placement authority, making day‑to‑day decisions aligned with strategy.
• Resolve technical queries independently and support complex broking cases.
• Drive continuous improvement using data, insight and structured experimentation.
• Shape placement strategy through evidence‑led recommendations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in the insurance industry with a proven track record in sales management.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Strong leadership, coaching and performance‑management skills.
• Deep understanding of regulatory and quality standards in insurance.
• Analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to improvement.
